Media Molecule co-founder Alex Evans has revealed that he is hoping for a LittleBigPlanet 2 PSP port.

Speaking to DS, the former Lionhead employee praised the developers of the series' PSP debut and said that a handheld follow-up would be "very cool".

However, Evans added that the PS3 version of the game is his studio's priority and did not confirm any official plans for another portable iteration.

"That would be lovely, but to be honest we're just focusing on getting the PS3 one done," he said when quizzed on the possibility of a PSP edition of LBP 2. "I think that Cambridge studio, who did the first PSP one, did a great job but I've no announcements I'm afraid.

"I think it would be cool though, I think it would be very cool."

LittleBigPlanet 2 is released for PS3 in November.
