Bungie denies 'Halo: Reach' 3D rumours

According to Eurogamer, reports had surfaced that Bungie was showing the game in 3D at this week's Gamescom event in Cologne.
However, Bungie's Brian Jarrard revealed that the 3D Reach demo had nothing to do with the developers or Microsoft.
"It's a Toshiba TV demo in the booth. It's actually for their TV hardware. It's got nothing to do with Xbox or the game itself."
Jarrard admitted that the news of a 3D Reach demo had shocked the team, but said that they had no control over it.
"Apparently it's just an off-the-shelf TV set that supports 3D with glasses and they're running a Reach trailer for people. So there you go.
"It's just video playback with 3D glasses to emulate this TV's ability to upscale to 3D. It's a little misleading.
"I can assure you there is no 3D-enabled build. We don't have any specific support for anything like that in our game."
Halo: Reach will be released on September 14 for the Xbox 360.
