Tesco has extended its pre-owned video game trade-in scheme across 60 stores nationwide.

According to CVG, the retail giant extended the scheme after a successful trial period in February.

Under the rules of the service, games can only be traded in for store credit. Current trade-in prices include £12 for 2010 FIFA World Cup on the PS3, £17 for Mario Kart Wii and £19 for Red Dead Redemption on the 360.

The nationwide launch of the service comes after Tesco vowed to become a major player in the video game market back in April.
