Indie film service MUBI detailed for PS3

The free-to-download application will provide access to around 300 free and premium films from niche filmmakers and foreign studios.
Users can view a single film for £2.99 or subscribe to watch an unlimited number of movies on the service for £9.99 per month.
Users of the PC version will be able to access the PS3 service as part of their subscription, with log-in details, ratings and favourites carrying over.
The XMB tailored application will also host PlayStation 3 exclusive premieres and film festival tie-ins.
Films will initially be streamed in standard definition, with a high definition rollout within the year after launch. The client will also be given an update in March 2011.
MUBI will be available in the UK and 17 other countries across Europe and Asia this October.
