The Japanese and North American branches of the publisher were absorbed by parent company Index Holdings last week, which was followed by fears that it would be disbanded.
However, it has since assured its fans that it will continue operation and would be stronger than before.
"We want to assure our fans and affiliates that Atlus remains in operation and will continue, as always, to support our beloved community with the finest quality game experiences possible," said USA president Shinichi Suzuki in a statement.
"The Atlus-Index merger allows us to achieve greater synergy among the Index group companies and further strengthens the foundation of Atlus, both in Japan and here in the United States."
Atlus are known for developing the Shin Megami Tensei and Trauma Centre games.
