Gaming Preview: Halo: Reach
Microsoft has predicted that Halo: Reach will outsell Call Of Duty: Black Ops.

Director of Xbox and Entertainment Stephen McGill told Eurogamer that Bungie's shooter is "going to have a really good fight" and believes it will outsell Activision's game this year.

"We have huge expectations. More than 34 million people have bought [a Halo game] and those people are going to want to play Halo: Reach. We're going to do incredibly well," he said.

"Halo was the stand-out title when we launched Xbox ten years ago. It was the title that made FPS on consoles an accessible, fun, life-changing experience."

McGill added that the franchise is "in very good hands" now Bungie has handed over development of the franchise to Microsoft full time.

Halo: Reach will be available on September 14, while Call Of Duty: Black Ops will debut on November 9.
