Sony explains 'Gran Turismo 5' delay
Published Thursday, Oct 14 2010, 09:19 BST | By Matthew Reynolds

Series creator Kazunori Yamauchi told followers on Twitter (via Kotaku) that the game's complexity was to blame, but called the delay "inexcusable".
"Apologies for the delay. It's because time and labour were spent ironing the kinks out of [the game's] complex system. I'm really sorry. Everyone, it's inexcusable... Wait a little longer."
It was added that players shouldn't have to wait past 2010 to play the game.
Yesterday Sony announced that the long-awaited racer was to be delayed past its original November date.
