The former TimeSplitters and Second Sight developer told DS that new offices and investment will see them compete in the first-person shooter space.
"We have a ‘state of the art’ new studio which gives us a serious but relaxed and enjoyable environment," it said.
"We have some very talented people in the studio and we want to offer the most powerful and creative development environment we can for them. We are a full AAA development team and we intend to continue to compete in that arena."
With regards to new projects, it said it is looking at "new ideas for the future of FPS" and multiplayer gaming, but has nothing specific to announce at this time.
Formally known as Free Radical Design, the Nottingham-based studio went into administration in late 2008 before being purchased by Crytek.
Crytek UK is currently working on the multiplayer component for Crysis 2, due out in March 2011 for multiple platforms.
