Speaking on the game's Facebook page, executive producer Steve Papoutsis has said it is a commonly asked question and that players should "stay on [their] toes".
"That is a great question, a lot of people are asking that question. Going to have to do some thinking about that, but I'd say stay on your toes, stick on the Facebook page and you never know."
Dead Space 2 will be available on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC from February 22, 2011.
