The dance title, which was released late last year, saw 90 percent of sales on the Wii platform alone, according to Gamasutra.
It was added that the figure comes before the game's release in Japan, which is said to have one of the highest concentration of Michael Jackson fans in the world.
Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions will be released on April 14, and will feature Kinect and Move support respectively.
