Namco Bandai and Merv Griffin Entertainment are working on an unscripted live-action show that will be similar to Wipeout, according to Deadline.
"The idea we have is to take what Pac-Man is and bring it to life - to bring what is essentially the world's biggest game of tag to television," said Merv Griffin president of TV Roy Bank.
The series will coincide with the 30th anniversary of the original arcade game.
