According to Siliconera, Epic Games has filed a trademark for Gears Of War: Exile and has also registered a new logo featuring the name.
It is rumoured that the trademark and logo relate to the Kinect-friendly Gears Of War title that was due to be revealed at last year's Spike Video Game Awards.
The news follows yesterday's announcement that a new Gears Of War Triple Pack would be released in the US on February 15.
