Electronic Arts has announced that the teaser will feature the 'Skyline' map as well as the two game modes.
Team Instant Action will be a variant of Team Deathmatch, while Crash Site has players defend drop points against an opposing team of players.
"Crysis 2 offers a fresh, new take on multiplayer - one that will stand out and establish the game as a top contender in the first-person shooter genre," said Crytek CEO Cevat Yerli.
"The Nanosuit gives gamers a sense of power they have yet to experience in any other shooter and having New York City as a backdrop will present a different type of playground with even more possibilities."
The full game will feature 12 maps and a ranking system with 50 levels to unlock.
Crysis 2 will be available from March 22 in North America and March 25 in Europe on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
