Microsoft has revealed that owners of Bulletstorm: Epic Edition will gain early access to the teaser from April 18.
The public beta, which will be available to those who pre-order the full game from GAME or Gamestation, will begin a week later on April 25. It will conclude for all users on May 15.
The beta will feature an all-new Team Deathmatch mode and four new maps; Thrashball, Checkout, Trenches and Oldtown. In the final week of the preview, Capture the Leader and King of the Hill modes will be added.
Also revealed were a series of unlockables that will carry over to the final game, including a Beta Tester medal that be available once one full match has been completed.
Playing one match by April 24 and during the weeks of April 15 and May 2 will unlock the Flaming Hammerburst, Flaming Lancer and Flaming Sawed-Off Shotgun respectively.
Elsewhere, users that complete 50 matches will gain access to the Thrashball Cole skin in the beta. Playing a further ten matches with the costume will unlock it for the final game.
Finally, completing 90 matches will unlock a Gold-Plated Retro Lancer, which will then require a further 100 kills using the weapon to see it carried over.
