Published Tuesday, Mar 15 2011, 22:00 GMT | By Scott Nichols

Associate editor for Game Informer magazine Megan Marie posted the collector's item on eBay with all proceeds going to the Red Cross for Japanese aid following the recent earthquake and tsunami.
The DS itself is the original model of the system in red, featuring the signatures of Mario voice actor Charles Martinet, the "video game pianist" Martin Leung, Mario and Legend of Zelda composer Koji Kondo, Legend of Zelda director Eiji Aunuma, and legendary game designer Shigeru Miyamoto.
At the time of writing, the auction is at $1,800 (£1,120). Though the auction did not originally specify in its description, international bids will be accepted. The auction will end March 21, 2011.
