The cloud-based platform was introduced to UK PS3s last December, offering users access to personalised music channels.
When the service becomes PSP-compatible next week, users will be able to synchronise their music across PSP, PS3, PC and other network-enabled devices without the need to manage or transfer audio files.
The platform will also be available for Sony's PlayStation-certified smartphone Xperia Play, which recently launched in the UK.
Powered by Qriocity, Music Unlimited currently hosts more than seven million tracks, and has the backing of the four major music labels, Universal Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment, Warner Music Group and EMI Music, as well as independent labels and publishers.
The service comes to the PSP on April 14.
