A price cut for the Wii, as well as the Nintendo Selects line of budget titles, has been confirmed for Europe.

Yesterday, it was revealed that Nintendo will drop the price of the Wii to $150 in the US, and include Mario Kart Wii as a pack-in title instead of Wii Sports or Wii Sports Resort.

Nintendo today announced that the same bundle will arrive in Europe on May 20 along with the Wii's new price of £129.99.

Nintendo will also bring the Nintendo Selects line of budget-priced Wii games to the UK on May 20 for £19.99. The first Nintendo Selects games released will include Wii Sports, WarioWare: Smooth Moves, Mario Strikers Charged Football and Animal Crossing: Let's Go To The City.

In the US, the first batch of Nintendo Selects will release on May 15 and include Animal Crossing: City Folk, Mario Super Sluggers, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and Wii Sports.
