The LinkedIn profile for Althea Suarez Gata has revealed that she worked on the game last month on behalf of Halon Entertainment, according to Scrawl.
The cinematics firm has previously worked with Microsoft on the Halo: Reach 'Deliver Hope' advert, and could be creating CG cutscenes for the game.
Last month, developer Remedy Entertainment posted a job listing for a project featuring "compelling narrative and intense action", suggesting Alan Wake 2 was in development.
The recent mentions have fuelled speculation that the project will be revealed sometime this year, possibly at E3 next month.
Released in early 2010, Alan Wake was followed by two downloadable episodes later that year. A "second season" of the game entered the planning stages after the original game completed development.
Remedy recently explained why the franchise was exclusive to Xbox 360, stating that it removed the "technological risk" of developing for multiple formats.
