Developer CD Projekt confirmed the news through a Q&A on retailer GameStop's Facebook page.
"Let me announce that all our DLCs will be FREE. All of them," said a representative. "If anything will be for purchase, those will be expansion packs."
It was added that the first DLC pack, a side-quest titled 'Troll Trouble', would be released alongside the game.
Earlier this month, it was revealed that digital distribution service Good Old Games has allowed users to download the uncensored version of The Witcher 2 in all regions.
CD Projekt hinted at a possible console release for the PC game, saying that a "proof of concept" currently exists.
The Witcher 2 is available today in North America and this Friday in Europe.
