This week's Xbox Live update unleashes Double Fine's mobile trench warfare, introduces new mysteries in L.A. Noire and discounts PopCap's addictive games.

Trenched: Only Double Fine would combine towering mechs with trench warfare and pull it off so well. Customize your mech and set up defensive towers in this hybrid of action and strategy genres. Download it for 1200 Microsoft Points (£10.20 / $15).

L.A. Noire: Nicholson Electroplanting: Nicholson Electroplanting fits into the arson desk portion of L.A. Noire, with detectives Phelps and Biggs investigating a fire at the DLC's titular power plant. Download it for 320 MS Points (£2.75 / $4) or free for those who bought the L.A. Noire Rockstar Pass.
Also available are the First Purchaser Maps and Modes for F.E.A.R. 3 for 800 MS Points (£6.80 / $10), Skarlet for Mortal Kombat for 400 MS Points (£3.40 / $5) and the Mortal Kombat Season Pass for 1200 MS Points (£10.20 / $15), giving players access to Skarlet and future DLC characters.
