The list of games losing online functionality includes Army of Two, Battlefield 2: Modern Combat, Skate, Need for Speed: Most Wanted and Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10. Electronic Arts said that the games currently make up less than 1% of online players across all of the publisher's titles.
Electronic Arts closed online servers for 25 of its older titles in 2010, with another server culling earlier this year hitting games like The Lord Of The Rings: The Battle For Middle Earth II and FIFA 09 Ultimate Team.
"The decisions to retire older EA games are never easy," said the firm.
"We hope you have gotten many hours of enjoyment out of the games and we appreciate your ongoing patronage."
