Val Kilmer joins 'Spider-Man: Edge Of Time'

The Batman Forever star will portray a villain named Walker Sloan in the Activision video game, the publisher has confirmed.
Sloan was created exclusively for the game by comic writer Peter David, who provided the script. David will promote the title alongside Stan Lee at this weekend's Comic-Con International.
Kilmer joins Smallville's Laura Vandervoort and Battlestar Galactica's Katee Sackhoff on the project. The television stars will voice Mary Jane Watson and Black Cat, respectively.
Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions studio Beenox will develop Edge Of Time alongside David. Players will control the Amazing Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2099 in two connected timelines follows the demise of Peter Parker.
Spider-Man: Edge Of Time is released for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Nintendo Wii on October 28.
