Microsoft and LucasArts are to release a Kinect Star Wars Xbox 360 console bundle.

The bundle includes a custom R2-D2-themed Xbox 360 complete with custom system sounds, a C-3PO-themed gold wireless controller, a white Kinect sensor, 320GB hard drive, wired headset, Kinect Star Wars game, Kinect Adventures game and unspecified "exclusive downloadable content".

The Xbox 360 Limited Edition Kinect Star Wars bundle will cost $449.99 in North America, while a UK price has yet to be announced. The bundle is currently available for pre-order from select retailers.

It was also announced that Kinect Star Wars will feature podracing, as seen in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace.

The podracing game will allow players to race alongside familiar characters in podracers and other unlockable vehicles from the Star Wars universe.

Kinect Star Wars and the Xbox 360 bundle will be available later this year.
