The classic N64 remake has reached 270,000 total sales in Japan, complemented by 810,000 copies sold in the US and Europe.
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D is the third Nintendo 3DS game to pass the 1 million unit milestone. Both Super Street Fighter IV 3D and Nintendogs + Cats reached 1 million sales in April following the 3DS launch.
The firm also had million-selling games on the Nintendo DS and Wii this past fiscal quarter. On the Nintendo DS, Pokémon Black and White sold 1.36 million units between April and June, with 12.87 million sold since the game's release. On the Wii, Mario Kart Wii continued its high sales with 1.22 million copies sold in the past fiscal quarter, making 28.23 million in total sales.
Despite this good news for the company, Nintendo yesterday announced a price cut for the Nintendo 3DS and lowered its profit forecast by 82% for the rest of the fiscal year.
