'Borderlands 2' confirmed by 2K Games

The successor to the co-operative first-person shooter will be released on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC beween April 2012 and March 2013.
Borderlands 2 will add new characters, skills, enemies and weapons, as well as new unexplored areas of Pandora.
The follow-up will have its first showing at Gamescom in Cologne, Germany and PAX Prime in Seattle, US later this month.
Yesterday it was reported that a Borderlands sequel was in development for release next year.
