Speaking to Digital Spy at gamescom 2011, game designer Zac Alcampo said that outfits from the Brian Vaughn film will appear in the game as unlockable bonuses.
"There may be some secret First Class suits in the game," said Alcampo. "It's not necessarily associated with the movie, but it's all X-Men. We're all riding the same wave here."
X-Men Destiny is a third-person action-adventure published by Activision and developed by Silicon Knights. Its storyline follows three new mutant characters in the wake of Professor Xavier's death. Players will be able to enrol in missions for both the X-Men and the Brotherhood of Mutants.
X-Men: First Class was released in cinemas in June. The film arrives on DVD and Blu-ray next month.
X-Men Destiny is released for Xbox 360, Wii and PS3 on September 27 in North America and September 30 in Europe.
