The stealth-based action game will be among the launch titles when Sony's new handheld is released in Europe, reports The Sixth Axis.
The game takes place six months after the events of the original and sees a ninja character named Zen hunt down his treacherous former companions.
Shinobido 2, which is being developed by Tenchu veterans Acquire, adds new touchscreen controls and a number of additional stealth moves.
Predecessor Shinobido: Way of the Ninja was released for the PS2 in 2006. A PSP port was released the following year to a less than favourable reception.
The PlayStation Vita is due to be released in Europe and the US next year, although no official date has been set.
