The port of the City Interactive tile will be handled by Vivid Games, and will be released on the iPhone next year, reports Eurogamer.
The port will feature touchscreen controls and is powered by the Unreal Engine.
It joins official sequel Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2, which will also be released next year.
"The trigger for upcoming iOS game based on well known Sniper: Ghost Warrior franchise has been pulled by two great Polish companies that teamed up to create a premium quality sniping game," said Vivid's Remigiusz Koscielny.
"We're proud and excited about this project, and we will use our best effort and knowledge to deliver the very best, elite military experience on mobile markets up to date," he added.
Sniper: Ghost Warrior was released for the Xbox 360 last year and is a former 360 chart-topper.
The sequel was released on the PS3 earlier this year.
