The studio is offering users 13 months of play for $199.99 (£123) between now and September 16, according to an announcement on its official website.
EVE players were previously charged on a monthly basis, and required to purchase PLEX (Pilot License Extension). PLEX also serves as an in-game currency, and may be legally purchased from other players or traded for items.
"From now until September 16th, players can take advantage of a first time ever discount on bulk orders of PLEX. Pick up a pack of 13 PLEX for only 199.99. Play the market, pad your wallet, build your empire," read a CCP statement.
EVE went live in Europe and the US in 2003. It was originally published by Simon & Schuster Interactive before CCP bought back the rights. The game has been distributed through Steam since 2008, and available in boxed form via Atari since 2009.
Eve Online's 15th expansion, Incarna, was released on June 21, 2011.
