'Doom Classic', 'Wolfenstein 3D' iOS source codes released

id Software has also issued updates for both of the classic first-person shooters, introducing iPad and Retina Display support, Joystiq reports.
The patch also includes revised user interfaces with a remastered HUD and new menu art, remastered sound, locked 60fps for Wolfenstein 3D Classic Platinum, assorted bug fixes and more.
Source files for both games are available to download via parent company Bethesda Softworks' blog. The updates can be downloaded through the App Store.
id previously confirmed that it will publicly release the source code for Doom 3 following the release of Rage.
Doom Classic and Wolfenstein 3D Classic Platinum were released for iPhone in 2009. Both titles are available to purchase from the App Store.
