'Dead or Alive 5' revealed: First trailer - Tokyo Game Show 2011

Dead or Alive 5 has been unveiled at Tokyo Game Show 2011.
Tecmo Koei revealed the next iteration in Team Ninja's fighting franchise during the firm's pre-Tokyo Game Show event. The game is in development for both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 to release in 2012.

The last console game in the series, Dead or Alive 4, was released in 2006 on the Xbox 360.
More recently Team Ninja also created the spinoff fighting game Dead or Alive Dimensions for Nintendo 3DS.
Team Ninja has also shared early pre-alpha gameplay footage of Dead or Alive 5. The footage depicts characters Ryu Hayabusa and Hayate fighting in an urban construction yard environment.
