The Foo Fighters will make their BlizzCon debut during the closing concert of the convention. The band will be performing songs from their seventh album Wasting Light.
Foo Fighters founder, Dave Grohl, performed during last year's BlizzCon playing drums for Tenacious D.
The concert will also open with a performance by The Artist Formerly Known as Level 80 Elite Tauren Chieftain, a band comprised of Blizzard staff to perform songs relating to World of Warcraft and other Blizzard games.
BlizzCon 2011 will be held from October 21 to October 22 at the Anaheim Convention Centre, CA.
Convention tickets are already sold out, but Blizzard is offering BlizzCon Virtual Tickets providing access to more than 50 hours of streaming video from the convention, including the closing concert.
Virtual Tickets will be available for $39.99 or through DIRECTV in the United States.
