The game puts players in control of Raz, a young boy enrolled at a psychic summer camp with the ability to enter other people's minds.
A Mac port is now available though Steam and the Mac App Store.
The Mac version adds achievements, cloud saving and modifications to make the game's notoriously difficult "Meat Circus" level more manageable. These updates also appear in the PC version through Steam.
Psychonauts was the first game developed by Tim Schaffer studio Double Fine, which has since worked on Brutal Legend, Costume Quest, Stacking, Iron Brigade and the upcoming Sesame Street: Once Upon a Monster.
Though Psychonauts was a favourite among critics after its release in 2005, it never managed to capture high sales.
