The trailer shows a mission to Jackal Canyon in search of a valuable data decrypter. An assortment of weaponry is shown, including a crossbow that can put enemies under the player's control.
RAGE is the upcoming game from id Software, which the studio says will remain true to classics like Doom and Quake, but still offer a fresh experience for users at the same time.
It was recently revealed that the Xbox 360 version of the game will ship on 3 discs and have an optional 22GB install.
RAGE will be released on October 4 in North America and October 7 in Europe.
