South African online retailer BT Games has the box set listed for a January 2012 release.
Sony allegedly hinted that a Jak and Daxter compilation was in production back in May when a source connected to the studio told Gematsu that a "dark, dirty and dangerous" collection was in the works - a reference to Jak 3.
Naughty Dog and Sony released Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy for PlayStation 2 in 2001. The game was followed by two sequels, Jak II and Jak 3, as well as several spinoffs.
The title characters last appeared in the motion controlled crossover PlayStation Move Heroes alongside Ratchet & Clank and Sly Cooper.
Sony has previously remade several PS2 classics in high definition, including the God of War titles and Shadow of the Colossus.
The publisher is yet to officially confirm the development of Jak and Daxter HD Collection.
