Arc the Lad and two other games will be the first PlayStation import titles released in Europe this week.

PlayStation imports will consist of classic original PlayStation games which never previously released in Europe. MonkeyPaw Games is bringing the first three import titles to PlayStation Network this week with Arc the Lad, Cho Aniki and Arcade Hits: Sonic Wings Special.

Arc the Lad is the first game in one of Japan's longest-running tactical role-playing game series. Other titles in the series will also arrive on PlayStation Network in the future, including Arc the Lad II, Arc Arena: Monster Tournament and Arc the Lad III.

Cho Aniki is a cult classic shooter from Japan originally deemed too risqué for Western markets for its homoerotic bodybuilder characters and over-the-top flair.

Arcade Hits: Sonic Wings Special is a co-operative arcade shooter featuring 26 jets to pilot through 17 stages with branching paths.

The PlayStation imports will be available from Wednesday in the PlayStation store. Prices for the titles have not yet been announced.
