Street Fighter X Tekken
Street Fighter X Tekken will be released in March 2012, Capcom has confirmed.

Producer Yoshinori Ono revealed the date at this weekend's New York Comic-Con, where he also announced that the crossover fighter is in development for PC.

Capcom also outlined Street Fighter X Tekken's 'Gem System' at the event, a power-up component that modifies characters' abilities and stats.

Street Fighter X Tekken is a tag-team fighter featuring characters from both Capcom and Namco's bestselling series. It has been built using a modified version of the Street Fighter IV engine.

A handheld iteration of the title is also in the works for the upcoming PlayStation Vita. Capcom previously revealed that it will share DLC with the PlayStation 3 edition.

Street Fighter X Tekken is released in North America on March 6 and Europe on March 9.
