The 'Nintendo 3DS New Information: Internet Presentation' press conference will be live streamed through Japanese site NicoNico Douga and Ustream. Nintendo president Satoru Iwata will give the presentation.
The press conference will reveal new information about the 3DS that Nintendo claim was "impossible" to announce during its pre-Tokyo Game Show event last month.
Topics Nintendo plans to cover during the press conference include the 3DS November firmware update and more of Mario Kart 7's features.
Nintendo previously announced that the 3DS November update would add a 3D video recording feature and new StreetPass content.
A new Ice White 3DS was recently announced for Japan.
The Slide Pad add-on for the 3DS, which adds a second analogue stick and additional shoulder buttons, will release in December.
