The snowboarding sim was expected to launch on January 3 in North America and on January 27 in Europe, but will now debut several weeks later.
SSX was announced at last year's Spike TV Video Game Awards with the subtitle 'Deadly Descents'. The game has since been rebranded and is in development at EA Canada.
EA outlined the game's multiplayer components at last summer's Gamescom expo, confirming that it will feature what is essentially a 100,000-player online mode. Social features such as the 'RiderNet' system will enable players to recommend courses and rate their friends.
The studio previously confirmed that SSX will feature a course on every major mountain range in the world.
SSX is scheduled for release on February 14 in North America and on February 17 in Europe.
