The co-op shooter will arrive on the PlayStation Store on November 2, two weeks after it was originally due to launch.
The announcement was made on the EU PlayStation blog, along with an apology for the delay.
"We know you all have been waiting for this announcement for some time and we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience the delay may have caused you," reads the blog post.
It is unknown how much the game will cost, but users who purchased all four PlayStation Network titles during Sony's PLAY promotion will receive the game for free.
Payday: The Heist is a first-person shooter that lets players take part in bank robberies, prison breaks and drug ring infiltration in teams of four.
