The firm will bring Rovio Entertainment's line of print titles based on the mobile game to comic retailers, bookstores, mass-market merchandisers, and other worldwide traders.
"We're extremely pleased about our new partnership with Rovio and look forward to expanding the market for Rovio's new line of books," said Bill Schanes, Diamond's VP-Purchasing. "The initial title releases are full of the wit and creativity that makes Angry Birds so fun and exciting."
Rovio's Peter Vesterbacka added: "We're very excited about our new line of Angry Birds books and we think fans worldwide will love them, too. Thanks to Diamond, our distinctive Angry Birds brand has found a nice home to roost for distribution of its new book line."
The line of books will debut with Angry Birds Bad Piggies Egg Recipes, slated for November. It will be followed by two officially branded doodle books.
Rovia has promised to release additional Angry Birds books throughout 2012.
