Microsoft is partnering with GAME to bring the upcoming Halo remake to a number of stores before its November 15 release.
Gamestation's Birmingham New Street store will host the first event on November 4, followed by a hands-on session at GAME's Kingston Upon Thames shop on November 12. Both events will start at 7.30pm and finish at 10.30pm.
Fans can expect a "Halo-themed in-store experience", pizza, giveaways and a grand prize containing a Halo: Reach limited edition Xbox 360 console, a Kinect sensor, a copy of Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, an Xbox 360 Bluetooth Headset, one year's Xbox LIVE Gold subscription and 10,000 Microsoft Points.
Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary is a high definition remake of the 2001 Xbox title, complete with a co-operative campaign and online multiplayer.
New features include a classic mode allowing players to switch back to the original visuals at any time, and story teasers for Halo 4. It will also be released at a discounted price point.
Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary will be available on November 15 worldwide for Xbox 360.
