Rainbow 6 Patriots has been announced by Ubisoft.
The latest entry in the tactical counter-terrorist series sees Team Rainbow take on the True Patriots, a revolutionary group who claim the US government has become corrupt and favours corporations.
Featuring perspectives from multiple characters, players will be tested with a number of scenarios and tough decisions as they attempt to defeat the terrorist threat.
Elsewhere, new co-operative and multiplayer modes will be available, with players being rewarded for working as a team and mastering new tactical execution techniques.

"Terrorism has evolved, and so has Rainbow 6. In Tom Clancy's Rainbow 6 Patriots, all the team play, tactics and realism that fans of the series love have been coupled with an exciting new narrative direction," said creative director David Sears.
"This adds an unprecedented level of humanity that will make Tom Clancy's Rainbow 6 Patriots an extremely tense and immersive experience."
Rainbow Six was rumoured to see a New York-set reboot earlier this year, while a trademark for the title was issued last month.
Developed by Ubisoft Montreal with support by Ubisoft Toronto and Ubisoft Red Storm, Rainbow 6 Patriots will be available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC in 2013.
