Sony has confirmed that it is to re-release the PS2 platform adventure trilogy, and will provide a formal announcement soon.
"We can confirm the Jak and Daxter Collection is coming and will have more news to share shortly," a spokesperson told Game Informer.
The confirmation followed the appearance of Jak and Daxter Trilogy Edition on the German ratings board USK.
While details of the collection have yet to be revealed, previous Sony collections feature HD visuals, improved framerates, Trophies and 3D support.
Developed by Uncharted studio Naughty Dog, Jak and Daxter debuted in 2001 with The Precursor Legacy.
It was followed by two direct sequels in 2003 and 2004, as well as several spinoff games on PS2 and PSP.
