'Street Fighter II' on Wii Virtual Console adds online play

It was announced that the Mega Drive (Genesis in North America) version of the classic fighting game will release on Wii in Japan this December.
Though the Super Nintendo version of Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers is already available on Wii Virtual console, the Mega Drive version will be enhanced with a new online multiplayer option.
Capcom has confirmed that the enhanced Mega Drive version will arrive on European and North American Wii Virtual Console, though no date has been set.
This will be only the second Virtual Console game to receive new features on the Wii.
The first was Space Harrier II which received motion controls using the Wii remote.
