The handheld version of the racer is scheduled to release alongside the system on February 22, 2012 in Europe and North America.
F1 2011 on Vita will feature all the official teams, drivers and circuits, as well as a complete season with practice and qualifying sessions.
An additional Challenge mode features smaller objectives perfect for portable play, including checkpoint, gate and overtaking missions.
Elsewhere, local and online multiplayer will allow four players to go head-to-head in singular Grand Prix races, or two users to go the distance in a fully customisable season.
The Nintendo 3DS version of F1 2011, also featuring a full season, challenge mode and online multiplayer, launches on November 25.
F1 2011 was released on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC in September.
