'Battlefield 3' to receive "significant" update on PC

The imminent update will see "improved polish, stability, weapons balancing, squad control functionality, user interface enhancements, and several feature enhancements that address feedback the community has provided to date".
DICE will also remove the "negative mouse acceleration" that some users have experienced, and is likely to tone down tactical lighting.
The update will be made available to console users shortly after the PC patch goes live and once certification requirements have been met.
Battlefield 3 was released for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC in October. The game sold almost 2 million copies in its first month in the US alone.
