Its closest rival is Football Manager 2012, which swaps places with Modern Warfare 3 to take second.
Saints Row: The Third is this week's highest new entry at six, while fellow new releases Need For Speed: The Run and Anno 2070 prop up the chart at nine and ten respectively.
