'Battlefield 3' PC patch coming December 6

Battlefield 3 on PC will receive a patch next week, according to developer DICE.

The update, which includes bug fixes and balancing, will be available to download on December 6.

DICE also announced that the patch will introduce colour blind mode and some of the content from the 'Back to Karkand' DLC expansion, which is released in full on December 13.

Last month, DICE rolled out a Battlefield 3 update to "improve polish, stability, weapons balancing, squad control functionality, user interface enhancements and several feature enhancements that address feedback the community has provided to date."

Battlefield 3 was released for Xbox 360, PC and PlayStation 3 in October. The game sold almost 2 million copies in its first month in the US alone.
