The Xbox 360 dashboard is now available to download.
Originally planned for 3pm GMT yesterday, the update was postponed for around nine hours following unspecified issues.
Social marketing manager Graeme Boyd announced in the early hours of this morning that the update was finally available.
"Right folks, sorry for the delay and thanks for your patience, but the dash update is now on its way to you," he said.

The new Xbox 360 dashboard update will adopt the Metro panel seen on Windows Phone and Windows 8 operating systems.
Channels can be navigated using either a controller, Kinect or voice control, which will be integrated into its brand new Bing search function.
A series of entertainment apps are due to be released over the coming months, including YouTube, LOVEFiLM and BBC programming.
